I visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday tea-time, with delivery drivers, restaurant diners, and customers coming and going. Despite the busy rush, I had to wait 35 minutes for my fish and chips. It was frustrating to see another customer leave with their meals after just 15 minutes, while I waited for an additional 20 minutes with plenty of fish already cooked and waiting. I believe pre-ordering is necessary during busy times. The restaurant is located on a narrow street with limited parking, but the environment was clean and the staff were friendly. Have used Moscardini 's over the years but recently standards have been dropping. Since the onset of Covid we have used their delivery service which started off well but is now very poor: last night order placed 1755 with delivery eventually made 2025. Sadly the quality of the food was poor: fish clearly suffering from residing too long under the hot lamps, batter like leather and fish dry. Chips congealed and definitely not crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside . Following other disappointments we had decided to give Moscardini 's one more chance: well they blew it!

It is not worth requesting your tea to be served in a teapot, as it seems to be more expensive to use one tea bag in a pot compared to one tea bag in a cup. The staff could benefit from receiving some customer service training.

Great food and service and great value for money. Sat in and had lovely fish and chips. Family day out and this made our day.

Had not been in here for years. Wont wait that long again. Forgot just how good it was. Best chips iv had in years
