I am sorry to say but we found waitress was in our face all the time. Even when we had finished our meal and were chatting. I had my arms resting on the serviette and the waitress interrupted to whisk it from under me. It actually really put us off. So I am not sure I would dash back in a hurry. Its a shame as it is such a beautiful setting and the lights on the jetty were all turned on and it was lovely.Think the waitress needs someone to talk to her and not be in such a hurry. As soon as we had finished our meal and barely swallowed our last mouthful, she was asking if we wanted sweets. Another put off.
From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and that stayed all through our visit.It was a cold day but lovely and warm inside. We ordered drinks and lovely ciabatta bread oil and roasted garlic came out.The seafood chowder was just right, the scallops lovely and then the main courses one of barramundi and the other snapper both grilled with roasted vegetables and the snapper on a bed of delicious cous cous was fantastic.The coffee was nice and nothing was too much trouble. Sitting on the river the setting of this restaurant is great. So thank you Jaime our waiter for making our lunch special.
I had my wedding here on 7 April and I cannot recommend Mosmans highly enough. I got ready in the apartment adjoining the restaurant and the wedding coordinator Aoife could not have done enough for me. She was amazing to deal with through the entire planning process. On the day the service was second to none and every guest was raving about the food. We have also been a few times in the lead up to our wedding for lunch and dinner and would recommend it to everyone. The views during the day are serenely stunning and the food and service are fantastic.
As excited as we were to go to Mosmans we waslked out very disappointed. The view was spectacular the service was wonderful but the menu was lacking detail.We ordered tge $150 seafood platter which was so disappointing as the second course was horrible. We arent ones to complain but the maitrede would have known something was amiss as we barely touched it.You cant cook seafood in beer batter and not have that on your menu. The mussels were even worse.Sadly paying for the view wasnt worth walking out if there hungry

Beautiful setting, for an elegant evening. Quiet but warm ambience. For a fine dining experience the food was average compared to the prices. Seafood was fresh but either under or over cooked. Waiting staff appeared disorganised but friendly. Unfortunately we wouldn't make a second trip in a hurry. On the whole a great night spent with friends but food could have been better.
Service could be a little better but the seafood was amazing. Started with the natural oysters and the tequila oysters which were soooo good. Then had the seafood signature platter for two which came in two servings. First one was fresh cold seafood then the next course was the hot food.
For once we went to a tourist attraction where the food prices were reasonable so we spent more. The staff in training were really light and easy to order with. The order came out fast. The was enjoyable.
Our Estonian waitress was just great. Lovely personality. Attentive but not over the top. The food was good but not good enough for the price tag. The venue really needs a face lift. Would not rush back.

Very efficient but not intrusive service. Thanks Folk. Ordered the Seafood Platter ( for 2) and don't regret the choice. Every element was "I want more - more". :)
The seafood platter was fantastic. Service personnel was very attentive and friendly. Would go there again
