Mother Bear’s pizza is an iconic part of Bloomington and the Indiana University culture! The unique experience they give is to be able to sign the walls and seat backs. I didn’t see any rules posted about not signing the tables or wall art but people seem to respect the process and avoid those areas. And what about the food you ask? It is good. I personally like the deep dish with sauce on top. It is Chicago-esque style if you order it that way. A small 10” square pizza in that style will run you about $20 before tax and tip. We had a pizza and a sandwich. Both were pretty good but not great. The atmosphere was unusual and definitely in a college town as there was handwriting on everything that was in reach. Interesting but weird. I can see how that is popular in a college town. Food and service were decent.
