should’ve given this place a review long ago. been coming here for years and always consistent- super friendly staff too, so much so that last week i got a carry out order and pizza was missing 1 topping, still smashed it. only to find a voicemail later on that day from Ethan calling to apologize and offer me a free pizza anytime to make up for it, took em up on the offer later that week and sure enough, free pizza with all the fixings! class act customer service you just don’t see anywhere else nowadays. can’t recommend enough!

Awesome brewery and even better staff! I was in town for a baseball game and stopped in for a beer. They didn’t have any t-shirts in stock and don’t sell online. Tara took my order and promised to ship when it came in. It did come in and they even called to make sure of my order before shipping. Got my t-shirt and a few stickers to boot. I will be back in the future and recommend to anyone stopping in downtown Detroit for great beer and food. And say hi to Tara while there. Thanks again Motor City Brewing!

Nice place. The salad was delicious!!!! The baked wings were just ok. Spinach soup was good. The beers were cold. The bartender was a sweetheart. He let me try several beers before I ordered one. The gin one was absolutely delicious and refreshing! (I'm not a gin fan either! Upon arriving, there's a guy charging for parking, but you don't have to pay if you're eating at restaurant.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and their pizza is my absolute favorite. Have never had pizza anywhere else that’s as delicious as it is here. When they have it, the Orange Soda is delicious as well!

I don’t ever not finish a beer, but the pale ale, I just couldn’t. Plus, my pizza was burnt, other patrons’ looked ok though. All ingredients there for a good spot but it wasn’t.

Very nice, the German Bock was excellent, albeit served on the colder side. The chili was very good, as was the Munchen Dunkel. The Barleywine is outstanding!

My friends and I enjoyed a tasty pear pizza and one that had sausage on it, a fresh salad and, of course, beer. Great location. Nice outdoor seating

We have been coming here for years. Love the pizza, it's the best anywhere. Wish they made a bigger size but I love the place.

Pizza and beer in friendly atmosphere. Prices kinda high for portion but that's the new reality everywhere I guess.
