Had a late night curry at the Mount Gurkha and have to say it was absolutely delicious. Menu is your usual range of curries that you might find at an Indian restaurant with standard prices but I have to say that the Chicken Karahi that I had was really good in all aspects including flavour and portion size. Friendly and efficient service look forward to going again.
We visited on a Saturday and the restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. We chose dishes that were described as medium spice. However, we found them much milder than we were used to. The Sherpa chicken was particularly sweet as well. Staff were friendly and food and drinks came quickly.
Ordered a huge order from this restaurant yesterday and all I can say is that the taste of the food was exceptional so satisfying to my taste buds exactly the taste I was craving very nice and all the family agreed also the gentleman on the phone had very good customer service so I give 5 stars
Superb meal and what a lovely, friendly place this is. All the staff were so helpful and the food was superb. We both know our Nepalese food and this didn't disappoint. We had plentiful, fresh portions and wiped our plates clean ! Reasonable prices too. 10/10 given to Mount Gurka Reserva una mesa ahora
One of the best curry’s. The nan bread was glistening with ghee, the curry was full of flavour and the room was full of the sent of cardamom. If that was not a good enough recommendation the service was perfect, quick and friendly.
We came as a big group of 10 and had a great time . Excellent service and great environment. Wide range of dishes and drinks option to all type of food and drink enthusiasts.
Ate here tonight for first time after having 2 really good takeaways from there. Food was just as good. Such a good choice of food. Think it’s my new favourite Indian.
