Movie Tavern Flourtown

I used to really enjoy coming here, but I have to say that recently, the experience has declined. I visited a couple of times lately, and it seems they’ve had to make a lot of changes due to the pandemic. Now, the entire food and drink ordering process is quite tedious and inconvenient, as everything has to be done through your phone. To make matters worse, when I finally received my food, the quality was noticeably worse than I remember. It used to taste freshly made, but now I wouldn’t be surprised if they were just microwaving things. The burger sliders were incredibly dry.

The food is excellent, especially the wings. They deliver the food right to your seats, and there's a small table attached to the reclining chair, making it easy to eat comfortably. The ticket prices were $11, while I'm used to paying $20 where I live, so I was pleasantly surprised by both the ticket prices and the quality of the food. I had a fantastic time, and I also appreciated that the other customers were not loud or overly talkative.

The theaters are great. With the recliners, I had a good view even from the second row. However, the food is subpar. The location in Flourtown has never offered good food, although some of the older theaters used to have decent options in their early days. If the quality were a bit better, it might be worth trying. For now, I recommend just sticking to the snacks.

We had a great time my wife and I on a date watching blue beetle saturday evening one of the standouts of our evening aside from the movie being great was we ordered food and we were impressed the food arrived hot and it was good we were surprised it just added to a great experience overall at the flourtown movie theater Thanks for a good time... I had a nice experience, great soft seats that fully recline, good movie sound and quality for Minions rise of Gru, and the attendant stayed after to help my daughter find her sunglasses which fell into the seat crevice.I?m not sure why the reviews are so low. Don?t expect fine dining but nice chicken fingers snack and popcorn and such.

Although the food is a tad pricey (what theater isn't) The Movie Tavern Tavern delivers. We had an Impossible burger that was amazing. When you consider delivery, adult beverages and first rate picture and sound, it makes for the best time you can have watching a movie.

Two people working in the whole place. They didn't even care to scan my ticket. Noticed a cop was on duty; that's never a good thing. Burger was almost $20 and the bun was stale. Never again. This place was great 5 years ago.

This is my go-to movie theater. I love the service and food/snacks are good! Clean and comfortable as well! Great job guys! Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant has recently been renovated. I prefer visiting on weekdays when there are few to no children around.

It's not quite like it was when it first opened, but it's improved and is decent now compared to how it used to be.
