Mozelle's Fresh Southern Bistro

While visiting the Winston-Salem, NC area. My hubby and I got a chance to dine at this lovely establishment without a reservation. We had a 30 minute wait, and boy was it worth it! We took the first available seating, which was outside dining on a chilly evening; however, they provided personal heaters and blankets to each guest! The service was outstanding and the wine and entrees were amazing. If we're ever in the area again, this establishment will definitely be on the itinerary.

Even though I am not a fan of tables being so close together, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I ordered the green chile pork bowl with two poached eggs. The pork didn't look very appetizing and the green chile sauce had a strong smell that I wasn't too fond of. However, once I mixed everything together... the flavors were incredible. The pork was incredibly tender and the grits were deliciously creamy. Overall, a great dish.

Food was fantastic! We had ordered the beef short rib and their special of the evening; wahoo with orzo, arugula, and sun dried tomatoes. For dessert, our waitress recommended the bourbon pecan bread pudding; it was amazing! Highly recommend!

I always crave the tomato pie from this restaurant and can never go too long without it. We adore Sophie, she is an excellent server.
