Mr Chippy - Reserva de mesa

Mr Chippy has been a secondary chip shop for my needs, mainly due its location in the centre of the broadway in Haywards Heath. Prices are good in here and they offer the usual fare. Sometimes though I have found food to be a tad too oily. I remember having the urge for some fried chicken once, and upon eating it the oil poured out all over me, rather putting me off and staining my clothes. Still I have ventured back again and gone for the more traditional cod and chips which was fine, not too sure if I could ever bring myself to risk the chicken, only time will tell. Other than that I do recommend getting a take away from here.

Not quite sure why Mister Chippy is in the restaurant section! For a take away chip shop its certainly not the worst, however in such near proximiy to another fabulous chip shop and restaurant (naming no names they do come a very second best. Location wise, they are perfect for that quick stuff your face chip shop experience. However as the previous reviewer Bensonrad has said they are terribly greasy and oily. Just a word of warning, because this type of fat will never come out of your clothes!! The normal menu is on sale here so no real suprises and it is tasty, just a little to greasy!

Excellent chippy great chips as they should be and delicious fresh tasting fish. I don't usually write reviews but my parents owned chippies and this place was unexpectedly the best I've had since I was young from our pen shops. The fish is taken from the fridge/freezer when you order and cooked right then, five minutes later it's ready. The fryer, no idea if he was the owner was very upbeat, cheerful and very helpful. Super place, no pun intended! :

Great set up during this period of social distancing making it very safe to pick up your order. The fish and Chips were great and the kids had chicken nuggets that were cooked to perfection. Even the wife was happy as she had fish without the batter (Not sure why you would want this, but she said it was lovely! This place is well worth a visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

best in hayward heath in my humble opinion and experience. Believe me, I have a lot of fish and chips in my lifetime. I can't damage them, friendly, yet crispy and not oily if they are not thin after home, chip part. that's mine and my son. only something, can sometimes be difficult to get parking as in the strip of the restaurant.

Best fish chips locally without question decent value for money. I have high standards as a northerner who knows his fish chips and they come close to brilliant. The staff are quick, friendly efficient I'm sure if they went to bigger premises they'd win more fans customers.

The fish and chips at Herrn Chippy in Haywards Heath are absolutely fantastic. Don't just take my word for it though. When my son was in Cubs, they went on a chip shop "crawl" and unanimously voted Herrn Chippy as the best.

We have tried all the local fish and chip shops, but always return to Mr Chippy. Delicious food and generous portions. Definitely recommend trying this place, if you haven't already discovered how good it is. Reserva una mesa ahora

The cod and chips at this restaurant are excellent and I would highly recommend them.
