I really hope they will open soon! this is by far the best fish and chip shop I have ever found. each time, without failing, they get a very generous part of the fish (cod/hat), which tastes delicious and has a perfect juicy texture. the chips are also delicious! I saw a comment earlier, where someone actually moaned too big about the portion size, which I find absolutely creepy! we tend to get every fish and share a big chip, but honestly how could you get too much? in the grunde I have now moved to london and can nowhere else buy fish chips because my standards of mr chips are so high! I don't think I have seen fish portions that big ...ever! I ordered a large cod and chips and the staff member said we only have medium so I thought ok . I have had large cod at various establishments and they have never been anywhere near as big. Cooked perfectly and the chips were nice and golden. Plenty of scraps and friendly service. Would definitely recommend. Oh and the prices were more than reasonable

Trying to order a large cod and chips, but had only medium, but this was a blessing, because the part was large and more than enough. everything seems to be boiled to order, so they expect a little to wait what it is worth. they accept phone instructions so that they can call for a timely order to avoid waiting. fish was tasty and crisp perfect, chips typical chip shop chips all in all would reuse.

WOW. I am always amazed at the quality and size of the fish portions, especially for the price. It is consistently AMAZING. Best fish in the COUNTRY and the chips are so yummy too. so it was Easter Sunday and I had searched many places for fish and chips when I find open to chips. not the most glamorous place, but its open, so I order 2 med chips n 2 med cod, takes 10 minutes, which is good. when I come back with my food. wow absolutely amazing and the part is very generous I would highly recommend this little gem.

The chips are the best around the fish is huge and being a greedy person when it comes to cod ordered a large one and it was so large I had to halve it. The oil is always so fresh and the mushy peas some of the bedt i hve tasted.

The fish and chips here are the best in the area. We make a special trip just to enjoy them, sitting by the seafront. The view is beautiful and it makes for an inexpensive date.
