I actually felt like I was potentially eating something healthy because there wasn't so much grease as other chicken/lamb rice I've had. I like that you can get a lot of different veggies too. This place feels like home. The manager is so kind and nice. He has the energy like a dad, friendly neighbor or grampa. A very trustworthy person. His prices make since and did not rise through Covid. He tells you everything in the food and works around any allergies. All the food is made fresh and many times cooked in front of you. It's all tasty to me. I haven't eaten one thing I didn't like. The lamb is a bit dry in my opinion, so I usually get the chicken which I love. Sometimes I get the salmom- it is salmon patty pieces, not fried flowered salmon, but still tasty!
My family was on the hunt for some healthy takeout options nearby, and after reading several positive reviews about Mr. Gyro, we decided to give this local spot a try. We ordered a chicken rice platter, two chicken gyros, mozzarella sticks, and French fries. Their spices had a nice kick that we hadn't encountered before. The young man who assisted us was incredibly friendly and obviously passionate about the restaurant's menu. We would definitely consider coming back, and next time, we might even try one of their shakes.
This was NOT true Greek food. It looked like the frozen stuff. I asked for sauce on side, this did not happen. I could not even eat this I literally threw it in the garbage. I don't have any issues with this business and usually when I get food that is just ok I don't write a bad review. The fact that there is only 26 reviews right now leads me to believe these reviews may be friends and family. I wanted to warn you that if you're used to authentic Greek food this is not it.

Haq bhai is one of the nicest and most talented man I’ve met. He enjoys his cooking and always has a smile on his face when I walk in, also always customizes my food to my liking.I wish more people get to try his delicious chicken biryani and zinger burger which reminds me of Karachi every time I eat here. This biryani is truly karachi style !
I was very disappointed that the falafel came right out of a package of store bought (Costco? frozen balls from the freezer. While it was pretty good, I would expect a local establishment to make their own recipes. Also, on a day with 95° degree temps, they didn't have the AC on, or if they did, it wasn't working well.
I absolutely love this restaurant! My wife and I dine here around three times a week. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is incredibly delicious. The service is consistently excellent as well. We truly appreciate you, Mr. Gyro!
I went to this place for the first time today with 4 friends. All of us gave the food at least a 9/10. Absolutely the best halal food I've had In Nassau or Suffolk County. More variety on the menu than many other places I've been. I will absolutely be back.

We tried this place for the first time tonight we got the Butter Chicken and a Combo (Lamb and Chicken) rice platter. Both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back.
