We tried Mr. Hero for lunch for the first time, with my husband picking up sandwiches from the Nile location, about a 15-20 minute drive away. When I opened my smoked turkey sandwich, the lettuce was brown and slimy, and the same was true for my husband's Italian sub. The lettuce was just nasty. I called the owners to let them know, and they offered to remake the sandwich if we brought it back, but since we were already home, that wasn’t practical. They insisted the lettuce was fresh. I wish they had offered some sort of future redemption instead of only suggesting making the trip back immediately. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I have fond memories of enjoying excellent Roman burgers since I was young, but this place didn’t live up to those expectations. They served tomato halves, gave only half the usual portion of salad, and included fewer slices of deli meat. My friend ordered a hot butter cheesesteak, but it had barely any mushrooms or onions. Thanks, Mr. Hero, for letting us down.
I remember having good Roman burgers since I was young. This location gives half sliced tomatoes, half the amount of lettuce and half the deli slices. My friend had a hot butter cheesesteak with barely and mushrooms or onions.. I USED to crave Mr. Hero,thanks for ruining that for me.

The staff here run a buisness like american heros great attition to the food and flavors not to mention the level of respect you get here as a coustmer or just someone in need of a free watter and a restroom! Five star classy ppl here!!
This was my first visit, and it exceeded all my friend's recommendations. The owner was fantastic, and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend stopping by to try the Roman burgers!
