It was very tiny café close to Burwood station. The road was quiet but the café was busy. The décor was simple and cosy but the counter area was crowded (café was too small). The boss, or so I thought she was, brought over the menu and ordered for me. Menu size was reasonable, mainly selling their specialty maple bacon, but the menu items didn’t have many unique items.
So I decided to order the pig and chook and a cup of latte. First impression of the latte was that it had a great coffee art on top. It was unique because it was in the shape of a dove. The taste however was disappointing, it was slightly too bitter for a latte. Pig and chook was served in a non-stick pan that made it hard...
i feel like it was so meh. i was really excited to come here after reading all the amazing reviews but it was just very mediocre. the smashed avo on rye was ok but didin't have anything special that would make me choose this over making it at home. i much prefer the picnic fave which is a quite a unqiue avo on toast from the picnic in burwood. it's quite a cute cafe but i feel like the menu needs to be longer for me to want to come back. however the staff were really nice :)
Siento que era así. Estaba muy emocionado de venir aquí después de leer todas las críticas increíbles, pero era muy mediocre. La AVA destrozada en Rye estaba bien, pero no tenía nada especial, eso me haría elegir esto en casa. Prefiero mucho el Picnic Fave, que es una AVA bastante Unqiue en tostadas de Picnic en Burwood. Es un café bastante lindo, pero siento que el menú debe ser más largo para que yo quiera volver. Sin embargo, el personal era realmente agradable :)

Best coffee in Burwood at the moment . Mrs P's offers a great selection of coffee which is complimented with a vast range of breakfast and lunch meals. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy a coffee and tasty meal. If you are not in a rush then this is the right place for you.
Un buen alimento de brunch saludable, con un giro. Tenía Shroomie Bruschetta para el brunch y era genial, pero para una rebanada de pan por $ 15 en Burwood estaba abit. El ambiente y el café son un golpe también, aman cómo usan hojas de hojas sueltas Chai :)
Some good wholesome brunch food, with a twist. Had shroomie bruschetta for brunch and it was great, but for one slice of bread for $15 in Burwood was abit much. The atmosphere and coffee is a hit aswell, love how they use loose leaf chai leaves :)
