This is undoubtedly the best BBQ and chicken spot in the area. The Mishkaki was incredibly tender and perfectly marinated. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken was delightful as well. I highly recommend ordering additional sauces like Buffalo and Honey Hot on the side; this way, you can savor the sandwich on its own before adding that extra spicy kick whenever you want. The photo doesn’t do it justice; there was a generous amount of cheese on the burger. At under $10 before tax, it was an excellent value. The poutine was also under $10 before tax, and I requested extra veggies, which the staff kindly added at no extra charge. I visited this restaurant close to closing time on a chilly evening, and rather than rushing me out or saying, "Sorry, we're closed," the owner made me an incredible meal. He mentioned that there might be a bit of a wait, but I truly didn't mind because he is such an outstanding person! We had a wonderful conversation about everything from travel to the neighborhood, his decision to start this takeout place, and how he came up with the name. The food was fantastic! The skewers were perfectly cooked and had a delightful spicy kick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
A small spot with a large taste for some delicious food. Easy place to miss off Major Mackenzie just west of Bayview but once I discovered it I’ve gone twice in the past 3 days. I had to beef mishkaki combo the first time that had a lot of flavour and loved that they use real potatoes for the fries. Found this place by fluke, got the double burger and onion rings and all I can say is wow. I love small greasy spoon places like this as food is cooked from the heart and not the freezer. Owner was super nice, I recommend anyone in this area check this place out it won’t disappoint
Great service and very flavourful food! We ordered the beef mishkaki which was both delicious and tender, a definite must try for first timers. We also had their hot/honey chicken wings which was just the right balance of heat! Definitely recommend this place to others.
