the lady of the house received us kindly. the room was beautiful. but otherwise everything was medium. While biking the Danube River, we were exhausted and decided to end our day and had no reservation. We walked in and got a room/breakfast for a good price with view of Danube River from the room. Also, the dinner was very good and affordable. They held our bikes and bags in their garage the next day while we visited the memorial, which is only about a 25-30 min walk

quite centrally located near the donau is the restaurant "mühlviertler hof." there is a terrace in front of donau and in the inner but also a quite appealing restaurant. the food offer is simple but tasty.
