For the breakfast I had asked for the day before because of my stomach-satisfaction to get something without carbohydrates. what did I get? a soup spoon of top and hard muesli. no milk or fruit juice. we drove through mauthausen on the afternoon and stopped at the muhlviertlerhof for lunch. there were several people sitting outside, but we have a table inside. the menu was in several languages. the female server spoke german, but she was very nice and helped us...order I had a nice snack plate with cold cuts, cheese and salat and my wife had a big salat. the food was good and the location of the restaurants on the river was picturesque.
while we drove the Danube River, we were exhausted and decided to finish our day and had no reservation. we went in and got a room/breakfast for a good price with a view of the donau from the room. also the evening meal was very good and affordable....They kept our bikes and bags in their garage the next day while we visited the monument, which is only about 25-30 minutes to foot
Sehr guter Platz wenn man außerhalb der Mittagszeiten noch was Essen möchte. Bei Schlechtwetter in der Stube, ein wenig finster aber urig mit netten Sprüchen. Bei Schönwetter vor dem Haus auf einer großen Terrasse. Ein guter Platz für Radfahrer. Bedienung freundlich, Essen deftig gut, Preise für einen Touristenort gut.

Spontane Zimmerbuchung vor Ort und kurzfristige Verlängerung um einen Tag möglich, freundliche Bedienung, Hausmannskost spitze! Doppelbettzimmer klein aber fein, mit TV und Dusche/WC. Sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet. Können wir 100%ig weiterempfehlen!
Hier gibt es noch gute Hausmannskost, ein schönes Wirtshaus, mit großem Gastgarten, und einen extra großen Saal, für schöne Feierlichkeiten (Weihnachtsfeiern, Hochzeiten etc. es hat im unterem Mühlviertel einen sehr guten Ruf.
Schönes Gasthaus gemütliche Athmosphäre gute vielfältige Auswahl in der Speisekarte preiswert Hausmannskost und vieles mehr das Essen vorzüglich freundliche Bedienung was will man noch mehr sicher empfehlenswert
