Why in the world would the ONLY coffee shop in town close at 3pm? I'm sitting here in front of the drugstore next door waiting for a friend and noticing people coming out with their purchased coffee drinks wanting to sit down and enjoy their visit, but two employees immediately come outside and tell them they're closed and they're taking in the tables and chairs! The bewildered customesr then look around for another place to go, but ultimately get in their car and leave.Then right after, several other potential customers try to enter the shop, but are told they are closed. Others come by and talk about going in for coffee yet they soon realize it's closed! Meanwhile, the gelato shop next door has a full house inside and outside. No wonder this town has so many empty storefronts. It's a college town, but doesn't even cater to the college crowd. Sad!
It's always a good time when going to mugsies. All of their products are amazing. They don't just specialize in hot coffee but they also have iced coffee blended coffee and milkshakes which are made with real ice cream and probably are the best milkshakes I've ever had. The food is also excellent and my go to for a light lunch when passing through town. The girls there are extremely friendly and always make it a 10 out of 10 experience. Might I add it is an excellent spot for a first date or a place to sit and read or do your homework.
Alright....coffee places everywhere....you can get a cup a Joe anywhere! Stopped in at Mugsies in New Wilmington, PA....Seriously....absolutely a coffee/tea destination. Service/5 stars, Environment/5 stars, Cleanliness/5 stars and most importantly the Chai tea and egg, bacon and cheese bagel was a home run. You get it all at a FAIR price unlike the mega corporate chain Stargrabyourbucks. If you are near...get there!!!
Love getting a cappuccino from there, and it’s nice it’s close by. The place definitely could use some more decorations though! And the menus are kinda small and crowded. It’s very plain inside and it’s be really nice if it was decorated properly! I also kind of miss the couches that were there. : but 5/5 because these are just improvement ideas .. it’s still a nice little cafe!
