Mum's Fish Chips

Amazing food! By far the best fish and chips, not just in Acton, but that I've ever had. So far I've tried the haddock, halibut, cod, chips, battered sausage, fish cakes, jerk chicken, curry chicken, patty, cole slaw, gravy, malt, and don't get me started on the homemade tartar sauce that I wish I could buy by the jar! All awesome. The selection of imported drinks from Jamaica and UK are great too. Portion sizes are huge and the service is nothing short of incredible! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow! How did I not know Acton had an incredible Jamaican place? We ordered the oxtail, spicy Pattie’s, Coco-Brot and have to try the Mac n cheese (for dying)! Everything tasted incredible and we are looking forward to the new order. Next time we will order Pattie’s at the dozen! And I don't think I can ever eat another bread again, now that I tried her Coco rolls. Customer service was like no other, so friendly and friendly. Thank you for being our new town.

The best fish chips in Halton. Add in the friendly, warm and welcoming owners and you have a hidden gem. As they used to say IT 'S WORTH THE DRIVE TO ACTON !!! Kid-friendliness: YUP! Seen the good reviews for Mums and decided to give it a try. The fish was about the size of an average cell phone (halibut) and very tough. The fries were cold and some were the color of dark wood. The positive is the persons on the phone and at pickup. Both were very nice and easy to deal with.

Fish is nicely broken (not too heavy), and Coleslaw is also really good. Skip the mushrooms and pickles maybe, but the main event is solid
