Went with some business colleagues after finding this restaurant in the Micheline guide (however the restaurant does not hold any Micheline stars). Try getting a table at the upper floor. It is a bit more stylish. The decor would be best described as a fusion between modern and traditional. It is not everyone's cup of tea but I liked it.Service is very attentive. They took time to walk us through the menu and if asked offered suggestions for food and wine. The concept is to serve small sized almost tapas like portions. The menu is not long (around 10 dishes) but is constantly changing. I found all the dishes good, the lamb was superb. It is surely not cheap (we paid 160 CHF pp with 2/3 of bottle of wine per person and desert) but interesting to try out.

I had looked at this online and was well pleased when I go there. Situated on a quiet square adjacent to the famous Kirche Fraumunster it has a small inside area and a large outdoor dining area. Was served an excellent amuse bouche of cold beetroot soup, quickly followed (service was speedy to the point of head spinning) by Goat cheese in a puff pastry (which the menu does not do credit to). After a pause the main of Chicken breast with risotto and carrot was excellent and really didn't need additional seasoning. Again the menu description didnt do it justice as it was really half a small chicken , not just a boneless breast. The price was not ridiculous as some places in Zurich are and it was not over crowded with list ticking noisy tourists

On our first night in Zurich we found this lovely outdoor cafe -- dinner menu was was modest, but the food was beautifully prepared, and the wine list was fine. My husband's meal of sea bass with roasted vegetables and spicy creme fraiche was especially good (my quail was good as well). As we finished up, all the church bells began ringing and kept up for fifteen minutes! Our waitress explained that they do so to signal the end of the workday. Somehow, this end to our relaxed outdoor meal was perfect. If you want a table outside, be sure to ask before just seating yourself.

I was here for lunch with my team from work. There were about 5 different fixed menus to choose from, and I selected the veal saltimbocca with polenta. Everthing was deliciously prepared, and I can recommend this place for a classic Swiss meal.
