Arosa Kulm Hotel 's Executive Chef de Cuisine Florian Mainzger, performs his culinary mastery in the Muntanella dining room. One of the very most convivial and talented Chefs that I have been graced to know in my 53 years serving the hospitality industry, Florian emanates true passion and joy in expressing his culinary artistry. The dining room adorned with Swiss Alpine elegance featuring bronze cowbells of different sizes hanging from the al fresco ceiling, one can only wonder about the immense size of the bull carrying a 10 kilo clanger. Chef Florian specializes in sourcing handpicked local meats and vegetables from his world class Swiss ranchers and farmers. Amongst the many chefs that my wife Christine and I have known around the globe, he is the best demonstrated example of serving farm to fork. Chef Florian 's salad dressings are unparalleled in their ethereal heavenly lightness, and his hearty beef , pork and lamb dishes are highlighted by his velvety fusion sauces. Constantly whipping up surprises such as a spongy baked pretzel accompaniment, Christine and I always anticipate the adventure of enjoying Chef Florian 's Haute Cuisine.
