We spent the weekend in CT for a short holiday and we are so happy that we found this place! The bar was quite full when we arrived there, but they have a section on the whole other side with stand and table seat. It was nice, because it was quiet and my friend and I could talk while we drank. The service was also amazing. We had a server called Tim and he was extremely attentive, but also quite personal. Overall, this was a great experience. Drinks were well made, food was delicious and quite expensive and the service was both friendly and efficient. Will absolutely return when we take our next trip to CT.
We dined on the covered terrace, enjoying the music which was pleasant without being overwhelming; we were able to have a conversation without shouting. The bartender was attentive and prompt, despite being the only one on duty. The burgers were fantastic, and I loved the onion rings and beer as well. This was my last night in Stamford after visiting for over three years, and I truly wish I had discovered Murphy's sooner. It may not be located on the main street of Bedford, but to me, it's a hidden gem. I’ll definitely return when I'm back for business.
The restaurant features an Irish pub decor but offers an American bar-style menu. The food is quite good. I tried the spinach and artichoke dip with chips, garlic parmesan wings (think chicken wings, if you're familiar with that term), which were perfectly fried and flavorful, and the shrimp scampi flatbread, which was also delicious. The venue includes an interior dining room, a semi-separate bar area, and outdoor seating. Finding a restaurant with a parking lot in downtown Stamford is a rare treat!
We loved it here. Burger was spot on. Got there around 330 on Sunday and sat in the bar area. They were short staffed so the bartender doubled as a waiter and absolutely crushed it. We’re pretty low-maintenance patrons but he was attentive enough where if we needed anything he would have handled it. Good on-tap selection, separate area if you’d rather sit in a dining area, and good outside patio area with ping pong and the ring game! Definitely coming back Reserva una mesa ahora
Nice local bar. Only real dart board in Stamford. Guinness is served cold but a little expensive. The burgers are so so good and the fries came out perfect. Beer prices are a little high but worth it for the nice staff and good atmosphere. Nice amount of TVs in the bar area. Good music.
We had a Great time here .It was our 1st time and the environment was so Chill.We sat outside by the Waterfall.The Wings where Delicious.We had Murphy burgers for beginners.It is a Winner.Classic Burger and Fries.I'm definitely coming back for Steak Sandwich and Breakfast.
