Murray's Fish Chip Shop

Had heard good things about Murray’s so we went tonight to try. We ordered a special fish supper wow that is expensive, I honestly could not believe when the server placed piece of fish in the box I thought she was going to...get the other piece however I was In for a big disappointment, how can you possibly charge that amount for piece of fish. The chips was one scoop which barely covered the bottom of the box. Skipped the single pie at Sorry guys but this is day light robbery. I have had many a special supper and this was average at best. Will certainly not be back and would not recommend. Away in the now looking for snacks.

Two of us had fish suppers here. The food was cooked to order and was fresh and piping hot, the portions were decent and service was quick. There was a queue but it was dealt with as quickly as possible. Judging by the locals it...is popular with them as well as visitors. It is only a minutes walk to the sea front so you can eat looking out over the river. Fairly priced for the portions offered. We are happy to recommend Murray’s to others visiting Broughty Ferry.

I wanted to visit Broughty Castle so looked up local Chip Shops and what a find. We sat in the car to eat then with the local seagulls spectating wanted to help us eat them, but they were the best chips I've had in a...while. The Haggis pudding was great too. This place will be hard to beat. If in the area again we will be back.

Head to Batter Up for some truly fantastic fish dishes. The batter is absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and softness. It's not overly crispy, which is just excellent. Keep in mind that the wait times can be a bit long during peak hours, but trust me - it's definitely worth it! Reserva una mesa ahora

Top notch chipper. Murray's is the freshest fish and chip shop around. The line may be long on weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait. The white puddings are excellent, but for me, it's the fish and chips from Broughty Ferry Port that really hit the spot.

The queues outside are testament to the quality of the food from this place -had take out twice in a week and introduced others to the white and black puddings very tasty indeed. Still not convinced about deep fried battered pizza though...

Freshly fried, delicious meals in ten minutes. Certain items are available pre cooked if you're in a hurry. Friendly staff and prompt deliveries. It's my regular haunt. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very nice Fish and Chips. You actually taste the fresh fish. Chips nice and not soggy. Environment very clean. Staff all friendly and professional.

Just had take away from Murray’s and sat at the harbour to eat it. Great food and a nice change on such a lovely night. The chips were amazing!
