Natural food grocery store featuring a cafe, bakery and vegetarian deli. Deli/bakery caters to many diet restrictions; GF, Veg, Vegan. There are many GF items in their freezer and pantry area (breads, cookies, treats). The deli and cafe have many GF options available to eat in or take out...breads, sandwiches, salads, cookies, cake, donuts, lemon squares, smoothies. Come in to stock up for the cottage and grab lunch and a cafe beverage while there.Their in house baker also makes and decorates cakes to order.

I had a fantastic experience at the café! I've seen some other reviews mentioning that the baked goods and food aren't suitable for those with celiac disease, but I personally had two excellent visits. The staff made sure that no gluten flour was used and took great care in handling my order. I've tried the cookies, brownies, rice bowls, and pizzas, and everything was delicious!

The food cafe area is not safe for someone with Celiac disease, as they informed me of a high risk of cross-contamination. Everything is prepared in the same area. However, they do offer gluten-free products in the retail section, and one of these is Beat the Wheat!

Unfortunately, nothing in the bakery or cooked food section is safe for those with celiac disease. However, you can find some great packaged gluten-free snacks and foods here that are often hard to come by in grocery stores.

The deli serves lunch and early dinner, so it's a good idea to check their hours, as they can change. They offer a diverse selection of daily fresh specials, in addition to their grocery items.

I just picked up some freshly baked gluten-free vegan buns, and they are fantastic! They have a light texture and just the right amount of chew. Delicious!
