The coach took us to the cable car bottom station after we had been issued with nordic poles and snowshoes as we wanted to do the Mutterer mountain snow walk with our guides provided. Before we went on our snow walk we had lunch in...the restaurant where a set two course meal and free drink was included by NH. Wir, 5 Personen und 1 Hund beschlossen mit der Gondelbahn zur Muttereralm hinauf zu fahren, dort eine kleine Wanderung zu unternehmen um dann in dieses bekannt gute Restaurant einzukehren. Das moderne, große Alm-Restaurant mit vielen liebevollen Details und sehr geschmackvollem Ambiente liegt herrlich auf einer Aussichtsplattform mit riesiger Gastterrasse. Unsere Vorfreude wurde nicht enttäuscht, sondern übertroffen - die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, flink und in ihren Dirndln hübsch anzusehen! A few days ago I visited the ski resort in Muttereralm (Austria) with a bunch of kids in the group. Besides that it resulted to be pretty boring skiing on the very few slopes, we had the misfurtune to try to have a lunch at...midday in the so called Erlebnisrestaurant . This is literally the only place which could accomodate a bigger team, but the crew was simply not prepared to cope with a busy day. When we entered in the restaurant there was no place to take a sit, there was a huge crowd waiting in the bar. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Restaurant bei der Bergstation der Gondel. Wir hatten Kinder dabei und querbeet bestellt: Salate, Eierschwammerl mit Knödel, Cordon bleu, Kaiserschmarrn, Kaspressknödl. Ausnahmslos alles wara.) superschnell am Tischb.) in 1a-Qualität und einer sehr großen Portionc.) nicht ganz billig aber Preis-Leistung in jedem Fall top!Zusammenfassend: Als megakritischer Selbst-Gastronom muss ich lobend anerkennen: Mögen andere auch die sprichwörtlichen Haare in der Suppe finden, bei mir uns war keines. Und der Service war auch bestens. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren schon einige Zeit nicht mehr hier. Diesmal hat uns die Küche sehr enttäuscht. In erster Linie kommt offenbar nur mehr die Fritteuse zum Einsatz. Das bestellte Cordon Bleu war hart und fett, fast wie mit einer Zwinge zusammengepresst, der dazu servierte Salat leider mit Mayonnaise ruiniert, das zweite Essen von ähnlicher Qualität. Vor einem Gewitter mußten wir in die Gasträumlichleiten flüchten, hier hat die Kleidung innerhalb kurzer Zeit den Fettgeruch stark angenommen. Hier hat dann nur mehr die Waschmaschine geholfen.
Ci siamo accomodati ad un tavolo ancora semi apparecchiato per una merenda. Sono venuti a prendere l'ordinazione ma nessuno si è preoccupato di sparecchiare e pulire il tavolo. Abbiamo preso 4 strudel: 2 con panna e 2 con crema. Una birra media e una coca media alla spina. Lo strudel era buono ma il bere assolutamente no. Coca sgasata e sia coca che birra non fresche. Le abbiamo lasciate nonostante il caldo. Conto 28,50 euro. All'Interno del locale una gran puzza di olio fritto vecchio. Non n lo consiglio.
Sehr guter Service, man bekommt sehr schnell seine Mahlzeit. Kellner sind auch sehr freundlich, allerdings klären sie ihre Gäste nicht allzu gut über die Gerichte auf. Das Essen ist leider richtiges Skihütten- bzw. Großkküchenessen und demnach nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Auf keinen Fall den Rindfleischsalat bestellen. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Fleischberg ohne Salat :) Auch die Käsekrainer waren geschmackslos...dennoch schönes Ambiente, für eine Wanderung auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
A nice place to eat in a wonderful place to enjoy and chill out! Menu has not all the typical tiroler dishes (what a surprise! and not so many dishes anyway. Chicken was the best for us, Käsespätzle was quitly good and speck with egg...too. Portions were big and right prices. Service was little bit strange, perhaps the girl was not in her right day....!

A good restaurant at the top of the Muttereralmbahn (Gondola Station). The Restaurant has self service and served Areas and a huge sunny terrace outside. Service is very friendly, fast and efficient. The Food is excellent best are the home made cakes and strudels... or try the Kaspressknödel excellent.
Professionell geführte Gastronomie. Nette Terrasse. Die Damen im Service sind flink und zuvorkommend. Immer einen Besuch wert.
