The spacious breakfast area in downtown San Carlos offers a wide range of breakfast choices, as well as lunch and dinner options. I was really impressed by the variety on the menu, the deliciousness of the food, and the great location. While the customer service could use some improvement—likely due to either a staffing shortage or the restaurant's popularity—it didn’t overshadow the experience. If you’re tired of waiting in line at some of the chain breakfast spots nearby that serve similar quality food at higher prices, this place is a great alternative. The food was fantastic! We tried the huevos rancheros, the breakfast burrito, and a few other dishes, and everything was absolutely delic...
We love this place! We eat here every Saturday morning. I love it. I usually get two eggs scrambled with cheese, hashbrowns bacon and English muffin. I save half for the next day my husband gets omelettes chicken fried steak sometimes a hamburger with onion rings and everything is always great. One of the things I most appreciate about this restaurant besides their prompt courteous and delicious service is the fact that the food comes in compostable containers. I'm so fed up with all the plastic in takeout I can't comprehend how anyone can participate in this vicious cycle anymore and I really appreciate this restaurant for offering food in containers that are sustainable.
I ordered the French toast combination, and it was absolutely delightful—literally melting in your mouth. It was rich and buttery soft. The bacon was also quite tasty and easy to chew. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick, so there was hardly any wait even at 7:30 in the morning. I highly recommend this charming breakfast spot if you find yourself in San Carlos!

Stopped in on road trip from San Diego to San Francisco and this is seriously some of the best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. My family joked about just getting new jobs and switching schools to eat here all the time. You won’t regret stopping here to eat. We all loved it! Glad we found them. *Would’ve gave 5 stars but they didn’t do the military appreciation discount.
Humble is a cozy little breakfast spot with an impressive variety of options! On top of that, they offer a "make your own" option, which is fantastic. I was able to create exactly what I wanted—everything except the kitchen sink! They are accommodating with special requests, and the staff is incredibly friendly. This little gem has quickly become one of my favorites!
I love my breakfast house. Regarding my preferences, it is the best American breakfast and lunch restaurant around. The variety of the menu is great, and I was never disappointed here. The owner and server are also very hospitable and friendly. Try them and enjoy a pleasant culinary experience soon.
