Finding parking was quite challenging since the main entrance clearly states "members only." We tried calling the restaurant five times before someone finally answered and instructed us to use a gate that also had a sign saying "no entrance." Once we managed to park the car, we entered to discover a decor reminiscent of my grandmother's house. Upon our arrival, no one approached us; the staff simply stared, so we asked if we could sit down. In response, the waitress checked her watch. This was at 5:30 PM, and the restaurant is supposedly open until 7 PM. Recently visited this restaurant after a couple months and I really don't know what's happened to this place. The portion still remain big which is great however the quality isn't so great.We had the chicken schnitzel and the pork goulash, both of which the meat was not fresh at all. Our stomach did not feel very great for the next couple days (that was the only thing we ate that day)The restaurant has also let me down in various many ways but what is there to say... staff change, management change unfortunately not for the better here.
We decided to eat at this restaurant, but we won't be returning. The experience was so bad that we wished it would just go away. The Golonka had an unpleasant odor that made it inedible. At first glance, it looked unappetizing, and the taste was even worse. It was enough to ruin the meal for both me and my husband. We definitely do not recommend this place.
