Went to My's Restaurant with some old friends last week for a lunchtime get together. We hadn't been there before, but had heard some good reports, so decided to give it a chance.Great decision !!Our friends had pan fried chicken in lemon & pepper sauce and braised beef in satay sauce. I had flaming beef with capsicum and my wife chose caramelised pork. We all shared the dishes and in two words " All Brilliant " The side dishes of vegetables and fried rice topped off a great meal.The only thing that slightly spoiled the lunch was the unfriendly waitress ( Who we think was also the manager ). It was a slow day, so no pressure on staff , but we never got one smile or asked if we were enjoying...
Went here just last week for my grandsons birthday. Best to book as we did. Pleasant welcome. Drinks amvailable promptly and orders taken. All food was good four the 5 of us. Everyone happy. But I especially mention the Banana leaf salad with crispy pork belly and prawns. Beautifully conceived dish that did not disappoint. Light, flavoursome and the pork was indeed crisp and perfect! I have had the steamed fish here many times as it is my go to dish but I now have a new favourite. Mys is popular with locals. But if you are visiting and want to experience a very good Canberra suburban eatery Mys is hard to beat for authentic Vietnamese.
We are lucky to have this great restaurant in our local area. The food is tasty and varied and very fresh. If you go during the day you will see the staff preparing fresh herbs and spring rolls. Tonight we had a blackboard special, Lamb Shank Curry, this was flavoursome and delicate, my chilli averse husband loved it! The owner/chef often cooks a special dish and they are wonderful.
A spur of the moment decision to have some Vietnamese food brought us back here again. Our first time here for lunch and it was quite busy but the service is still great. Michael and his team are great hosts who provide reasonably priced meals and the restaurant is licensed as well. Access is easy with plenty of parking. Might be best to book to prevent disappointment.

We eat at My’s regularly and are always satisfied with the food.If you just want a quick meal or a very pleasant extended dinner sharing with a group of friends, this is the place to go.The service has always been friendly and helpful.It’s so popular as a local restaurant that it’s a good idea to book ahead.
My's continues to impress with their great food and service. Customer service was displayed when the waiter told us that the prawns were currently of a poor quality and we should avoid ordering a prawn dish. She gave us a good substitute in our banquet order. Well done.
Delicious food served quickly and presented well. Waitress was very helpful in assisting with our choices. She recommended steamed rice instead of fried rice, as the flavours would clash. Very impressed!
I've returned to this restaurant a few times and the service is always good. Fast and efficient with great food. What else could you want
