If you're looking to try Afghan cuisine, I would advise against visiting this restaurant. There is nothing authentically Afghan about the food here. The kitchen is managed by a couple of Tamil or Indian individuals who seem to lack knowledge of Afghan dishes. Additionally, the manager is Filipino, and the rest of the staff are not Afghan either. The service is poor, and the food is often either burned or undercooked, with the rice consistently served cold. I have visited this location three times with friends and family, and unfortunately, we were disappointed each time. As evidenced by the pictures below, I don't understand how the chef managed to burn the kebab while leaving it undercooked...
The service is counter-based. I grabbed a couple of menus from the counter, and we found a booth to settle in and make our selections.
SWMBO opted for the Tandoori Chicken with Rice ($12.99, which included an additional $1 for the rice), while I went for the Shish Kabob without rice ($10.99). There was more than enough rice on her plate for us to share. Both the Tandoori chicken and my ground beef were tender, moist, and well-seasoned. Our meals also came with naan and a dipping sauce for the meat, making for a very satisfying meal for two.
Waziri Tandoori was just average, not particularly impressive. The Chicken Qurma Plate was terrible—definitely the worst korma I've ever had; it tasted like vinegar. Additionally, the DoorDash delivery driver, Ahmad, didn't handle the food carefully; he threw the food package at the door, causing the korma container to leak. He also appeared unkempt, raising hygiene concerns. Naan Kabob, please work on improving your food quality and service.
A special mention goes to Store Manager Shad! His careful attention to detail and dedication truly elevated our dining experience to something extraordinary. The delicious chicken and kabobs, combined with Shad's commitment to excellence, made our family dinner unforgettable. Naan Kabob isn’t just a restaurant; it's a haven of exceptional service, all thanks to Shad's outstanding leadership!

I have had the pleasure of trying the lamb shank at Naan and Kabob on two occasions, and it has been both tender and flavorful each time. The rice is also quite good, accompanied by sweet carrots and raisins, but I think it could be enhanced with a touch of cumin or coriander. Additionally, a bit of crunch, perhaps from toasted pine nuts, would really elevate the dish.
The food was served at just the right pace. I ordered lentil soup, a sandwich, and a mango shake. The mango shake arrived promptly, followed by the soup shortly after. As I was savoring the soup, the shami kabob sandwich was brought to me as well. Everything tasted excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch.
We ordered Chapli Kabab platter, spices, rice, sauces and salad were perfect. I would highly recommend you to go for saffron and pistachio ice-cream as dessert too. I would give 10/10 to food, atomsphere and serving.
The atmosphere is fantastic! I visited this restaurant for a family dinner, and I ordered the seekh kebab, which was delicious. Be sure to try their mango milkshake—it's absolutely amazing!

This restaurant offers authentic Afghan cuisine made with fresh and delicious ingredients. The service is prompt and reliable, and the cleanliness is consistently up to standard.
The chicken was dry, and the rice was cold and sticky. I wouldn't recommend this place. It felt like I was served yesterday's rice.
