beyond frustrated with the quality and quantity of food here. I have always seen this place pop up when searching for a Mediterranean place. I thought of trying since the reviews were good. I ordered the build-you-own plate and looking at the picture of the food it seemed the quantity would be sufficient. I went to pick up the food at around 5 pm when usually the place should be full or at least have a lot of people but, there was hardly anyone. The customer service at this restaurant was the worst. The manager was rude and refused to listen to my concerns. I tried to use a coupon for 4 hummus falafel bowls that was not working on the app, even though it stated in my email that it could be redeemed in store. When I showed the barcode to the cashier, it said it had already been redeemed, which was not true since the app was not working. The manager accused me of lying and using someone else's code, and refused to help resolve the issue. I am a regular customer at this location, but after this experience, I will not be returning and will not recommend this restaurant to others. I took family for dinner here but I was completely disappointed. The bread was not cooked properly. The falafel were not fried properly and had lots of water content and cold. The quantity provided was very little and they wanted to charge extra for everything. I normally eat at nafnaf in downtown and they are best. IDOF is my 2nd choice. However after eating here today, I hesitate to recommend nafnaf.
I believe they serve the best falafel pita in town. I had not visited the restaurant since the start of Covid, but I brought my son to try it. He really liked the taste. However, I noticed that the falafel is smaller now compared to how they used to be. It had been over a year since we've been here. They've changed their menu. You can no longer get the shawarma plate with Israeli salad and potato fries. Israeli salad have no flavor to it strictly had a vegetable taste no seasoning. Can we get potato chips instead of potato fries. We were both very disappointed I just can't see going back here cuz it's completely changed
The Naperville location was not as freezing cold in winter as was the Aurora location. The staff was a little bit nicer. Not great, not super helpful and the lady at the cash register middle-aged or a little bit older probably Hispanic by means of identification was extremely snippy to say the least. But the corporate office is extremely receptive.
I recently visited this Naf Naf Grill for the first time and was impressed. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I tried the Chicken Shawarma Bowl and was pleased with the fresh and flavorful ingredients. If you're in the mood for a casual lunch, I recommend giving Naf Naf Grill a try.
