The Shabu Shabu is a fantastic deal at $22. It easily fed the two of us, and there was enough food to potentially serve three. The beef was incredibly tender, and the broth was delicious. The sesame sauce that came for dipping was exceptional—definitely a 10/10. We also ordered some noodles, but both of us agreed that we would probably just stick to the Shabu Shabu next time, as it provided plenty of food for us without needing the extra noodles. I should mention that their hours have recently changed, as they closed earlier than usual at 1:30 instead of 2:00.
I've only visited this restaurant a few times, but each experience has been delightful! The homestyle Japanese cuisine is perfect, with dishes that are consistently flavorful, rich, and hearty, yet not too heavy. The service is prompt, and the prices are very reasonable. It's always a pleasure to come here in a relaxing atmosphere. I definitely need to visit more often!
The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the tonkatsu is absolutely delightful! I'm not sure what kind of dashi or marinade they use, but I enjoyed it even more than the tonkatsu from the now-closed Magokoro, even though it wasn't quite as crispy. I will definitely be returning!
The sashimi was delicious and fresh! We loved everything we ordered. It was very affordable compared to other restaurants. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of options from sushi to ramen. It's a cozy little spot to enjoy a great meal.
