Went here end of May and the service was terrible and unprofessional sat down and was shown to our table and and we sat down we ordered some popadoms and drinks and when the popadoms came out they tasted stale and the cobra I ordered was warm and tasted watered down, my wife just ordered a coke and it was not real coke it tasted like the fifteen pence coke (or should I say cola) you get from Tesco the young boy (probably around 16/17) was incredibly rude to us and to another table I overheard too. It was a very disappointing experience for me and my family. I suggest avoiding this place as the service is incredibly slow and the food and drinks are terrible. Honestly it’s not worth the money.
I recently dined at The Naj with my daughter, who lives close by. We had been to this restaurant before and had a great experience. This time, the food was just as delicious, if not better, prompting me to leave another positive review. The service from the team was excellent - they were attentive but not overly intrusive like some other places. A big thank you to everyone at The Naj for a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to returning for another enjoyable evening when we are in town again.
Whenever my family visits Hoo, we always make sure to dine at The Naj. The food is consistently exceptional and the service is top-notch. We were attended to by local students at the beginning of the evening, who the manager informed us he specifically hires. Later, the manager/owner took over and was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a fantastic night out thanks to The Naj and its staff, including the chef!
I had a home delivery tonight supposedly from Naj in Hoo. It was shocking. Keema rice was delivered as Coconut rice Chicken Tikka Masalla was watery and chicken not a good texture. I have eaten at the restaurant and the food was very good. This was very poor. Won’t go back again. In fact I won’t get a delivery again as I’m not sure of the foods origin. I did not eat the rice as it’s coconut. Sauce to watery. Poor Reserva una mesa ahora
Ordered chicken tikka main course, asked if it came with side salad and thumbs up it was a yes. Then a chicken tikka dhansak and a plain and keema nan bread....only 4 items What we got, chicken tikka main course without the salad, chichen dhansak not tikka, like I asked for and paid for) and the 2 nan breads, chicken was dry and what a waste of £21...... Won't recommended and won't use again...:
Family meal here was just perfect. We decided, as we wasn’t celebrating Christmas, to have lunch at The Naj. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated amazingly food was delicious, service impeccable! Despite us being the only guests the atmosphere was lovely! Thoroughly recommended. Thank you!!!
