Namaste Tandoori Restaurant

We tried this place out with our friends. We decided to eat at the restaurant. They are not really equipped for dining in. The person that served us was working in the back as well. They do cook some of the food out the front so you can see what they are doing. The dining area is still under renovations. I would go for takeout next time. The food was very good, not too spicy. We has the pakoras, garlic naan, Paneer, Chana Masala, butter chicken and lamb. We had enough for the four of us and then some.

Uninteresting, compared to the first owners, this third set of the post fish-and-chips era is on par with the second, and both far below the first folks to introduce Indian/Nepalese cuisine to Georgetown. Barely an effort, and certainly makes the drive a little further east towards Brampton attractive.Portions are hardy, and if your taste buds are shot anyway, you'll like it. The Tandoori chicken, however, is good.

It just isn't the same any more. The last time we ordered the naan was hard (used to be made fresh and was SO wonderful). The tarka dahl had been my favourite dish - what I got this time wasn't even recognizable to me. The butter chicken and onion bhajis were okay but still not as they were formerly. Very disappointing as the food was always fantastic before.

The food is good and plentiful however the wait times are unbelievable - PLAN AHEAD Also try finding a menu on line!!!!!

We ordered take out dinner from here. It was very fresh and hot when delivered. Food was great. Service was great.
