Namaste Tandoori Restaurant

We decided to give this place another shot and while there found out it 's under new ownership again. That made me feel better. Anyways the food was better than previous owners but just ok at best. My husband is from england where Indian food is AMAZING so we are very picky. This is canadian indian food. Like for people who cant handle spices!! It Looked better than it tasted unfortunately! So we wont be back. We will stick with our normal place which is actually the FIRST owners of this place. They are in Mississauga so we drive there to pick up because its it 's worth it!!!

Placed order by calling ahead for pick up. Family owned and operated. Food is good, were used to authentic Indian food having travelled to different parts of India. The food portions are good, not spicy at all, perhaps its because most people are not able to handle spices. Was hoping for at least mild. If youre interested in spices as we are, make sure you have hot sauce close at hand.

Waited for 1 1/2 hrs for a mediocre meal. Lamb vindaloo was not marinated and just pieces dropped in a sauce. Same with chicken biriyani. Chana Dahl was v good as were naans. Strange it took so long to heat up preprepared food. Worth the drive to Brampton for proper Indian cuisine

We go there quite regularly, and every time the food has been great. I ordered shrimp vindaloo with garlic naans, and I couldn't stop eating despite being so full! The owners are such nice people too! We will be back for sure!

I've been here a few times. Had a. Great meal for the family each time. Owners are very sweet people. Buttered chicken is incredible.
