it was a rainy day so garden city should be the best place to eat for quick dinner. we wanted to go for the oporto, but it was closed for the day (only 5:30 o'clock? . then we decided for the nando around the corner. at the arrival we felt the chaotic mood with customers do not know whether they should wait for someone who serves them for Dine-in or simply follow them the waiting queue for taking. there were not many human resources that took care of this issue. we went on a Tuesday night the restaurant was quiet. when we went to the bar on the counter, we went away and waited for a while before we could ask for a table. there was no mention of how long it would take to eat. after a falsifying 53-minute waiting period we received our food. only that our order is wrong. we were advised that the delay was because our order was redirected and they had to recover it. we said they could fix our order, but after we waited as long as we didn't, we wanted to wait for another good to know how long the meal should be corrected. after waiting I would have expected that eating is hot and it was something about the room...read more
We went here for lunch and I usually always get their chips and a wrap so I decided to try one of the salads because it sounded pretty good.
They have a very large and open restaurant inside with high ceilings to let in the light but there's also plenty of tables outside under shade so we chose to sit outside. We were sitting for a few minutes when our meals came over and we were really surprised since it was pretty busy but they were so fast.
The chips as usual were delicious and I enjoyed the salad as a healthier option every once in awhile. This is definitely my favourite nandos out of the ones I usually visit.
This is the only Nando's I've been with high ceiling, and it makes the space very large. The amount of natural light that floods into the space gives it a special ambience feel. Customer service was average as usual, I ordered platter for two alongside large chips and coleslaw. The ribs were almost over cooked which was disappointing. Also noticed that they had new meals for lunch which was interesting since it has been a while since I previous dine at Nando's. Overall the experience was quite pleasant, prices are average, no surprise there but importantly the food is extremely tasty and addictive.

Went to Nando at Garden City to buy some chips for movie and I found that it is a really large outlet among its siblings. The venue provides huge spacious dining area indoor and outdoor. However, they lack of a well organized ordering system, which I have to keep my eyes on the counter and wait for them to call my name when my order is ready. Why can't they use the digital system? Just print out the ordering ticket with detail of my order and the order number. Display my number on a screen so I can be informed after the order has been ready. Where is your management?
I decided to bring home a whole grilled chicken from nandos to compliment what we were having for dinner with my father and partner.At almost $20 its more than twice the price of Coles BBQ chickens. I do enjoy the grilled flavour more.I had a friendly server who suggested I try half bbq flavour and half mild peri peri flavour. I had a beer next door at the Beachouse and he kindly delivered the chicken to me there. Nicely presented in two cartons which separated the two flavours.
Whenever I want really good chips I always go to Nandos and get the peri peri chips. There's just the right amount of seasoning that's not too overpowering. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the service, which was very slow despite that there were only a few customers at the time that I went.
Just popped in for takeaway large chips and drink but the service was so friendly and attentive that I thought I should put it in a review. The dining area is also surprisingly large and airy. Well done team, great service!

Enjoyable meal, will eat here again.The hummus and turkish bread was so good, my husband loved the chicken and the sweet potato chips were so yummy.
The restaurant was not very busy, we walked in to big tables still loaded up with dirty plates not yet cleared.
