The majority of this review was posted in 2015 earlier, but due to a slight spelling/grammar issue I've had to delete it to publish it as the Yelp mechanism would not allow me to change the review with it being so long since it was reviewed which is fair enough. Nando's in the Arndale... I have been put off visiting here for a while ; it is normally filled with heavy queues of guests, hence I have gone to other branches but I have been here 2 times in the past week or so, and not had a wait to be seated. Nando's in Manchester Arndale used to be one of the busiest and less favorable locations in the city, but I believe it is improving now. If you're visiting on weekends or during peak hours, be prepared for longer wait times compared to other Nando's locations. While you might consider going to a different Nando's, it doesn't mean this one is bad at all. They allowed me to get two breast pieces for the half chicken I ordered, which some locations typically don't like to do because it creates an imbalance between breast and leg pieces. Nando's has several branches across Manchester city center, and their Arndale location is likely the busiest, as you would expect from a restaurant in a bustling shopping mall. Despite being in a high-traffic area, the store has been nicely designed, maintaining the signature Nando's atmosphere and decor. There is ample seating available, although be prepared for a wait during peak times, such as weekends and dinner hours. I arrived an hour before closing and was pleased to find that we could still be seated. The wings were excellent, with twice the amount of meat compared to what you typically get in the U.S., which I really appreciated. They atmosphere is pleasant, the staff attentive and the food hot! I had the sweet potato and butternut squash pita and chips. I found the flavor a bit bland but well done. They have many different sauces to compensate. Overall...Good Dining experience. Picture does no justice...

During my three-day stay in Manchester to catch a United game, I often made my way to the Arndale Mall for dinner, specifically for their peri peri chicken. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. I was also impressed by the wide variety on their menu.

Despite being very busy, a friendly staff member promptly and courteously showed us to our table. Our food order was taken efficiently and delivered quickly, with the same polite service. The chicken was cooked just the way we like it.
