The ordering process was simple and modern—you just sit down, scan a QR code with your phone, place your order, and enter your table number. Then, you pick up your food and dig in! This Oak Brook spot is conveniently located right by the escalator from the fast railway parking area. It was a welcome change from the typical burger and fries!
My husband and I came to this location on Friday night having never been, not realizing they were soon closing, and yet every interaction we had with everyone on their team was so positive and polite. The General Manager, Amy, was outstanding and really provided the full eating experience for us. The food was great and the people really left a memorable impression on us. Wow, this place was incredible! The chicken was bursting with flavor and so tender. I got the rice bowl, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. It was served with generous portions of tasty, textured rice, the best tomatoes I’ve ever had, and fresh avocado and feta cheese. The custard tart, while small, was perfectly flaky and delightfully gooey. I will definitely be returning!
The food at Nando's Peri-peri was excellent, especially the chicken and sauces. However, the service could have been better. They offer a delivery-to-your-table option, which was fine, but they ran out of the drink he ordered and offered us alternatives instead. The turmeric cauliflower was also very tasty. I will definitely return when I'm in Chicago.

This was our first visit to Nando's Peri-peri. Overall, the food was decent. My husband really enjoyed his chicken breast wrap, which was full of great flavor. My pulled chicken bowl with avocado and Portuguese rice was just average. We plan to come back and try other items from the menu.
