The door to the kitchen was open and i watched one of the cooks drop a ladle on the ground, wipe it a bit with a paper towel and throw it back in the pot. Personally that seems a bit unsanitary for me. I got a breakfast sandwich and there was a small black hair on the bagel. The service was great and the sandwich was good. Although even if i drop a dish on the floor in my own home i always wash it before putting it into ANYTHING i will be digesting. Not trying to be a Karen, just trying to stop someone from getting sick.
This was an absolutely delightful find yesterday! Everything we ordered was delicious! Prices were very fair and tough thing to find nowadays. The waitress was absolutely lovely! Everything was scratch made. Going out to eat lately has been one disappointment after another, so this was a breath of fresh air! Definitely give them a try! Support local! Ps- for those that care they have gf options! And not crappy gf! Soooo good!
Breakfast was fantastic. Home fries were some of the best that I have ever had, seasoned well and not too crispy. It had a hole in the wall feel but the food was fast and the service friendly. Very much a spot for locals, to the point that one patron grabbed coffee and served it to everyone after he gave himself a refill. 10/10 experience. Parking: Parking matches capacity for this location. They have a dedicated lot.
Nanny and Pop's is a great little place. Great atmosphere, wonderful people, and great service. Food is fabulous. You feel at home. Kid-friendliness: They love having children of all ages.
