Today my sister and our 3 granddaughters decided to have lunch at the Nano Cafe based on the reviews we read. Well I can’t review the food because we left after being ignored for 1/2 hour. When my sister tried to flag down the waitress she deliberately ignored her. Then we saw another customer ask her if she was their waitress and she rudely told her I don’t know where your waitress is. After we saw that we walked out and as we were walking out a waitress finally talked to us and I told her we were leaving and why. She then proceeded to explain that two waitresses left early. Pros, location in Sierra Madre and a really nice ambiance. Service was very slow, we sat in the patio near the door and there were tons of dirty dishes. They need to relocate that drop off trash and dish spot. Do you really think customers want to view and smell that when they eat? Disgusting. Second, the server recommended the turkey sandwich. It was way too big of excessive turkey and tasted so plain. Well, it was pretty bad. Even sad. It was me, party of one. I ordered eggs Benedict with home fries, a side of bacon, and coffee. The eggs were hard (not quite hard boiled, but not poached) the potatoes were grainy, like how they get after they have been in the freezer and tasteless, and the English muffin was like soggy in oil. It was really bad. I ate about 1/4 of it and waited for my bill for so long. The owner who was the only one around kept ignoring me and finally I shouted, excuse me and she came over and I said I 'd like my bill. It never came. I waited and waited and waited.... I've never check the area before because after a hike I always go straight home I'm glad I tried it it's a good place for brunch family friendly vibes , ambiance is really nice you can sit outside or inside we did inside the vibe so like very local and very part of the community I really like servers are very nice and friendly Food selection was good drinks too is good and food arrived quickly and looks good and taste good Overall it's a good place to stop if you're in the area I'll deffo comeback again after a hike Parking space too is good but no EV if you're wondering

Stopped by to have some breakfast, I was greeted right away by a sweet lady. A gentlemen asked what I would like to drink, I had water. My server came up to me and ask what do I want very loud mouth/rude, older lady who 's English was not good. She made me feel uncomfortable with asking questions. Instead I walked down to The Only Place in Town . Much nicer establish and better quality of food. Not to mention the service is so much better. I will not be returning back here.
Is 10:59 and got seated quick and waitress came to our table quick . So far service is great to begin with. I order the waffle combo , also the spinach omelet and the veggie Benedict. Only issue I had is that each plate was delivered separately, 5 min after another. Had to wait 10 more min to eat because my significant other didn't get her food yet. Love the whole decor of the place. Has a cabin feel like . Very quiet neighborhood
Favorite pup friendly brunch spot! Large patio with a laidback vibe that always accommodates our large breed dog. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll French toast delicious!
Very good food. All staff very friendly. Waitress was wonderful. Nice atmosphere. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
