On a friend’s recommendation, we visited for the first time last night and had a wonderful meal. The food was exceptional including the linguine with swordfish, the gnocchi with a beautiful ragu and grilled swordfish, not forgetting the excellent wine from Sicily. The portions were very generous and the service very friendly. This is one of the best Italian restaurants that we’ve eaten at in the UK and will now be a firm family favourite. We are fortunately visiting with friends next week and can’t wait to visit again and try more of their delicious dishes.
Been coming here for years as it used to be so good. Our latest visit was disappointing food was just average and needs to be better as its quite expensive £50 pph without desert or coffee. Saturday evening 6pm and they told us they had no sea bass but only when taking our order. They have very strict timeslots so the whole place filled up at the same time so we were basically asked to leave at 8pm despite having not been offered desert or coffee purely because of the slow service and filling the whole restaurant at the same time.
We had my husbands 70th celebration here today. The food was amazing as always) the ambience superb. Everyone felt so at ease here and the couples /families that had not been before have all said they will definitely be returning! Thanks to Matt and team for making it all so special .
