I stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite and decided to try a pepperoni and cheese slice. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The sauce was bland, there was hardly any pepperoni, and overall it felt like a slightly better version of Elio's frozen pizza. This certainly didn't live up to my expectations for New York-style pizza, especially in Federal Hill. I left feeling disappointed, as I believe there’s potential for improvement.
The reviewer couldn’t have put it better - this restaurant really surpassed my expectations compared to Elios Pizza! I was shocked that they attempted to serve me leftover pizza for their special. Even though they opened at 11 am, I received a pizza at 1:12 pm that was hot but had cold cheese. It was obvious that they had reheated it, as the cheese had settled and looked different. You can always tell when pizza has been reheated.
My wife, a true pizza enthusiast, tried a couple of slices with pepperoni and meatball. She couldn't finish her first slice and called it terrible. Their Napolitano doesn’t compare to Pepe's in Warwick. I had a veggie slice that I enjoyed, though I would have preferred a crispier crust like Pepe's.
Best pizza I’ve had in a long time... nice chewy crust, flavorful and balanced sauce and not greasy! They don’t put cornmeal on the bottom. Friendly service and great if you just want a slice and a coke. Reserva una mesa ahora
Kelly the bartender is great! Great conversation and she made a great old fashion and offered advice for places to go in Providence. She also makes a mean old fashioned. Great cocktails and beer!
The NY Style pizza at this restaurant is outstanding! The salad looked great on the surface, but the bottom was a bit brown. Nonetheless, I would still rate this place 5 stars.
Pizza in the style of REAL New York! Perfect crust. Excellent cheese sauce ratio. Could still use some Ronis on the paprika, but can't wait to go back and try their calzone!
The New York-style pizza here is excellent! However, the salad looked beautiful on top but was brown underneath. Otherwise, I would have given this place five stars. Reserva una mesa ahora
Great pizza and a really good bartender. We drove 45 minutes for the pizza and it was definitely worth it. Will definitely go back!
