I am unsure what the previous reviewer thought was bad about the food. The food was STUNNING. the Wagyu beef was amazing and an out of body experience. It 's helpful to brush up a little on Japanese food etiquette so you don 't feel out of place or do something totally inappropriate like stick your chopsticks in the food straight up and down, lol. (always place chopsticks back on rester that they give you when you are not using them. bring small bowls to you to eat and don 't bend towards the food. Always replace dishes to their original place they were set when you are done as an indicator that they can pick the food up. and good grief don 't actually use the soy sauce for the sashimi cours...

Nasime is a small but wonderful Japanese tasting menu that offers great value for the price. There are only a couple tables, one larger table that accommodates 4, and the counter, and you're served mostly by one person or the chef. Quality of ingredients is pretty high, some of the courses weren't as strong as others but again for the price it's hard to beat. Parking is easy on the street. Our menu consisted of edamame surinagashi app, seared a4 short rib, sashimi platter, yuba wrapped red cod, miso chilean seabass, kurobuta pork and oyster udon soup, and finished with a miso hazelnut chocolate ice cream. There are a few reasons I'm giving this a 4 first, due to the size it can be tough to b...

Intimate restaurant with a bar that fits 6 and three dining room tables (two 2-seat tables and one bench-seating table). I made a reservation a few weeks in advance to get the time I wanted. I also put in availability alerts for other times and did get a few email notifications when tables opened up. We sat at the bar where we could see the meals being prepared by the chef. Chef and server were nice, service was good. Food was great! My partner and I both really enjoyed each course, and we were both full at the end of the meal. Lots of drink options, too. The yuzu whiskey cocktail was light and refreshing. The sencha tea was also good, and the server refilled the pot often.

This place is a total gem. Each course was exquisite with unique but comforting flavors. Incredible sake selection and the sashimi course was so fresh. Every other dish was delicious. Our favorite was the yuba wrapped fish with fresh cucumber, asparagus, and sesame dressing. The dessert was incredible too. Amazing umami. And everyone who worked there was so lovely!
