Had a great night here. The room is perfectly rustic and a welcome relief from characterless modern offerings. The food follows suit. A husband and wife team, she cooks, he runs the floor. The host is incredibly engaging and charming. Simple menu of small plates, sharing platters and family style mains. All cooked home style with tons of love. This is proper comfort cooking. Simple, but with care and attention and quality ingredients. Highlights for me were the humous, mussels, and both pork mains. Very reasonably priced, short wine list. The red we had from the south was very drinkable and €17. Don’t hesitate. Get away from the tourist centre in Sintra and dine like a local.

This tiny restaurant is owned and run by Zee and his wife Yolanda is in the kitchen. All plates are small plates and can be shared Zee is tireless and gives great advice at high speed. The menu is not to long and we tried lots of different dishes each one delicious. Short wine list and we drank Alvarinho. As the charming restaurant is so small it is necessary to book but well worth a visit if you are in Sintra

Returned once more to this excellent small restaurant for dinner on two occasions on this visit to Sintra. Great service and wonderful tapas style menu particularly the 'ham ' style tuna and beef and chicken stews. Warmly welcomed as always by very attentive José, his wife and staff. Thanks again from Scotland!

Excelente conceito. Muito boa amostra de pratos e com qualidade superior. Muita simpatia no atendimento. A voltar e voltar. Negativo só posso dizer que foi a conta, pois vamos experimentando e experimentando e no fim a conta é alta, mas vale a pena.

Cosy restaurant with an intimate touch. The owner came over and explained each dish to me ultimately helping me make decisions to have an authentic, and unforgettable takeaway of his cuisine. Don't leave Sintra without eating here!

Ladies and gentleman this place is trully the dog's ****! Excellent food, awesome staff, great PR all within a super environment! Well worth a visit if you're nearby. 10/10
