This Marina based restaurant and bar has been recently refurbished. Situated on the banks of the Richelieu river, the setting is very unique and the decor is fresh and modern. The patrons have the choice of an open air but covered terrace or an enclosed air-conditioned dining room with its upbeat decor. There is also a second story to the building that can be used for group events or also fine dining offering an excellent view of the river and boat traffic etc. What struck me as their best point was the quality of their cuisine. Can a restaurant make everyone happy? It sure seems possible after our visit to BleuMarin. We were looking for a nice waterfront restaurant for a Friday night out. When we first arrived we felt the restaurant outside was quite noisy, and you don’t see the water as much as I would have liked. But after a few minutes the positive energy just grabs you. Every guest seems so happy, various groups of people engaged in joy-full conversations, busting laughing... which explain the noise... and you can help but smile and fall into the good mood! Service was excellent, friendly yet professional, felt taken care of. Food was good, small menu but enough choice. Jovial place. Lovely evening. Will return...
