To begin with I have to mention that I love cooking and baking, so it’s always a great surprise to find a place that meets up to or surpasses my personal standards and those are very high! Anlässlich einer Geburtstagsfeier durfte ich das navale auf der hippen Hafeninsel in Offenbach kennenlernen. Dieses Café ist ein liebevoll und auf höchstem Niveau familiengeführtes Unternehmen. Hier steht der Chef selbst am Herd und kocht die Leckereien, von denen man nur Träumen kann, wobei die Krönung des Abends, das einzigartige Dessert - Frittiertes Eis, in einer Knusperhülle - keine Wünsche mehr offen ließen. Es war ein gelungener Abend und ich komme sicherlich wieder, nicht nur um mal die Spaghetti aus dem Parmesan zu probieren, und die selbstgemachten Torten, und das Brunch und ....
Wir waren zu sechst zum Eisessen dort. Die Portion für den Preis war eine Frechheit: Spaghettiteis für 7€, was jedoch nur 2 Kugeln waren - Eis stand auch eine Weile, bevor der lahme Service es an unseren Tisch gebracht hat. Entsprechend aufgewärmt war das Eis schon. Eine Bestellung wurde komplett vergessen da sich "keiner verantwortlich gefühlt hat, das Eis an den Tisch zu bringen".

Was gibt es besseres als an einem schwülwarmen Tag köstlich frische Melone mit Schinken zu genießen. Dazu würzige Bruschette (siehe Foto) - abgerundet durch einen leichten prickelnden kühlen Rosè. Der Sommer kann kommen. Ich freue mich schon auf weitere Abende im Navale.
You can say what you want, the quality and taste of the food was really convincing. Especially the ice cream, I've never eaten so delicious. Really top. The staff was also very nice and competent. Price performance also good. I like to come back
Durch Zufall sind wir heute auf das Café gestoßen und haben uns durch ein paar Eissorten probiert; Fazit: suuuper lecker! Unbedingt ausprobieren!
Nice place, friendly service, food can be very good at reasonable prices here, especially if you can try flame cake various variations here.
