If I had to rate Navaratna solely on their food, five stars wouldn't be enough! The flavors at this vegetarian Indian restaurant are outstanding and if we lived closer, we would probably dine here a few times a week. The only downside is the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but things can be a bit slow, especially if you order a Mint Cooler. I don't know what's in it, but in my opinion, it's worth the 20-minute wait. If you don't mind a slower pace and enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, Navaratna will quickly become your go-to spot!
We came with a party of 8 guests. The restaurant was nearly empty with only one other table of two. We were not familiar with the cuisine and asked for help in selecting dinners We ended up with 6 out of 8 entrees that were rice based and similar. Although the food was good I think we could have been guided to a more varied selection. Service was excellent. Perhaps 4 people served the 8 of us. Parking is very difficult
The restaurant advertised a variety of wines, but several were unavailable. It would have been nice to have a basic fruity white and spicy red available to pair with the food. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. Disappointing.
The food is so good at Navaratna. We had ordered so many snacks and all of them were delicious. We loved mirchi bhaji, aalo bonda, tikki chaat with their awesome coffee. The ambiance is a little low-key however food is great.

Navaratna is a vegetarian restaurant with a diverse menu. The food was superb overall, with the best Saag Paneer I have ever had in the United States.
Neighborhood gem vegetarian Indian restaurant. Has great food with mediocre service and surroundings. Only true negative is crappy parking....
The food was absolutely delicious and And the service was quick and efficient. I will definitely go again.
The food was very good. We tried a few chaat options and they were all quite nice.
