General When visiting Forchheim you should definitely visit the Kellerwald. Here you can enjoy Franconian bread times and beer of local breweries. In the course of the year there is a constant temperature of six to ten degrees Celsius in the rock cellars, ideal for storing beer when there was no modern cooling technology. Somehow the cool beer came directly at the basement and the numerous beer cellars from Forchheim were created. In the meantime, many warehouses have been built and, like the Neder-Keller, an annual management has become possible today. On foot from the station you can go to the Kellerwald for about a quarter of an hour. The way is signed. If you come with your own vehicle what you should avoid, you will find free parking in the Kellerwald. Ambiente A traditionally decorated cellar economy. The guest room in dark wood.
