The night started off very promising and ended utterly disappointing! Shame. First off, the pork sliders were lovely, the crumbed pork was done nicely, juicy and crunchy, the filling to bun ratio was on point, overall well executed in taste and texture. Yum! Unfortunately that was the only highlight and everything went downhill from there. Cauliflower dish was a bit oily and lacked a favourable taste, the miso eggplant dish had really nice flavours but were not evenly cooked, had bits of uncooked eggplant and over cooked parts, lucky draw depending on the pieces. WORST of all, the fried barramundi dish... OMG! oh what a terrible fish dish this was, did I mention it was terrible? It was SOOOO...
A modern place with creative and funky decor & food. Love the funny, eye-catching signs placed all around; your eyes are sure to wander to read them and have a few good chuckles. Food wise, all our dishes tasted good (some better than others), but I think overall, we were more impressed with the presentation of the food, especially the Dessert Trio. What we enjoyed the most was the Pork Slider, Tea Smoked Duck, Thai Milk Tea ice cream in the C4 dessert, and Lime Coconut Granita in the Pandacotta. Went to Neho for dinner on a Saturday night. Restaurant was packed - so make sure you book in advance. Although it was busy, the staff were still friendly and attentive. Food was good although it took a little while to come out. We ordered the folded arms in red oil (pork & cabbage dumplings) ($17), tea smoked duck ($30) and green soba salad ($12). Found that was a really good amount of food for 2 people and was delicious. Stand outs were the duck which was thick and juicy and the matcha soba, really like the flavours of the noodles mixed in with the rest of the salad.
