I went to celebrate my sister's birthday with a group of ten. We ordered the posh roast, which was supposed to come with crispy roasted potatoes and meat dripping. However, it seems they ran out, as everyone at the table received them except for me! The potatoes I received were light in color and undercooked. I spoke to the waiter about this, and while they took the potatoes back, they returned them to me with the same strange taste. The cauliflower cheese was also not enjoyable. Wow fantastic food here, good service. Acoustically there was a lot of noise, and the chairs could benefit from a bit of padding but couldn't fault the food. One person from our table had a issue with their meal not arriving at the same time as everyone else's, and they apologised straight away and said she would not be charged for it. Great service. Went to chapters for mine and my sisters birthday dinner. For entree we ordered salami, duck croquettes, and the cob loaf (all amazing but the duck croquettes were phenomenal . For the mains we had lamb cutlets, barramundi and Mac and cheese (again all were delicious but my lamb cutlets were so so good! The service was amazing. Kevin checked on us all night and looked after us and so did the two lovely blonde ladies waiting our table. We also had another gentleman coming over and cracking some jokes which added to a good atmosphere.Thanks so much to the chapters team, I will definitely be back : everything was perfect.
To top it off, the management was not only unhelpful but also quite aggressive in demanding payment for this fee. It felt greedy and inconsiderate, and the overall attitude was disappointing. Additionally, there was a moment where a waitress accidentally spilled a watermelon cocktail over the chef and his wife, which I found unprofessional.
As someone who works in customer service, I know that this kind of treatment does not encourage repeat business. Unfortunately, I have no intention of returning to this establishment.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for quite sometime as I adore Chapters. It has to be my favourite restaurant in the area. I have never been disappointed by the food, drinks or service. All staff are lovely and can guarantee a good vibe and full bellies… always.
maurice (mo) is amazing so helpful and recommended dishes that were delicious. everyone was happy with their food. service was fast and everyone waiting for us was friendly. will definitely be back.
