Nena Bay is an highly original and authentic creole bar and restaurant in the eastern part of Toulon. It is run by Matthias and Marie who capitalize on Matthias origins and recipes as well as their formation at Toulon's hotel/catering school. In Nena Bay they serve wonderful accras and samosas as starters, rougail, carris da camboza with gambas, local fish or chicken as well as coconut chicken, ravitoto beef, etc as main dishes, crumbles, sorbets, , We also very much enjoyed the drinks: planteur, rosé wine and home made rhums with all sorts of flavors rangng from banana, mango to papaya. This was my best creole dinner since my trips to Réunion and Seychelles Islands twenty years. Incredible. A must for all who miss creole taste and culture in mainland France.
