이탈리아의 비스테까 알라 피오렌티나처럼 스페인을 대표하는 스테이크를 츌레톤이라 부른다. 숯불구이 방식으로 굽는 스테이크이며 스페인 북부가 이로 유명하다. 산세바스티안엔 많은 츌레톤 전문점이 있지만 그중 가장 명성이 자자하고 휴무일 때가 많아 먹기조차 힘들다는 이곳을 찾았다. 오픈 시간인 1시에 이미 만석이었다. 점심이랑 저녁에 딱 한판씩만 만든다는 토르티야는 츌레톤 못지않은 인기를 자랑한다. 예약까지 받는다 하며 점심에는 토르티야만 드시러 오시는 손님들도 계시다. 츌레톤 하나도 혼자 먹기 대단히 버거워 토르티야는 과감히 포기했다. 좋은 안주엔 좋은 술이 빠질 수 없어 특별히 스페인 리오하에서 생산한 레드 와인을 곁들였다. 가니쉬는 토마토 샐러드와 구운 고추 딱 두 개인데 반반으로 요청했다. 살짝 매콤한 구운...
Fantastic place, perfect meat; I have been working with beef for the last 26 years, the small bar makes the difference, Nestor is a very welcome person but his attitude with one of the waiters because of 40ml of white wine breaks all the magic. Very yummy Tortilla that we managed to reserve some time before the bar opens. They only make one tortilla a day it seems and once the bar opens, it's flooded with people wanting to have a slice of that. One down side of this is: you are very likely to leave without able to try the tortilla at all as many locals and tourists will be there queueing for it.
Una de las mejores tortillas de patata de Donostia, por no decir la mejor! Una pena que haya que dar nombre y hacer cola para disfrutarla. La txuleta es espectacular al igual que el resto de productos que tienen, como grandes opciones de copas de vinos. El servicio es espectacular.
