I had a great experience at this restaurant. The waiter was friendly and we had a good conversation. The place was clean and modern. However, when it comes to reviewing a restaurant, the food should be the main focus. I ordered the meatball Parm sub, which was a huge meal. However, it was just okay. The sauce was lacking and the meatballs were not great. I wouldn't order it again. It was difficult to eat it like a sandwich, so I had to use a fork and knife. The sides that came with the meal were good, and the soup of the day, matzah ball, was excellent. In the end, I learned my lesson to not order Italian food at a non-Italian restaurant. I recently learned that in the 1940s and 1950s, diners had diverse menus to cater to a growing economy and expanding tastes. It felt luxurious to have matzo ball soup, chocolate chip pancakes, and an avocado bacon cheeseburger all on the same menu. That's exactly what my wife and I ordered last night. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and came in large portions for a great price. They also serve alcohol, so we enjoyed a beer with our meal. Called in an order (gyro with fries). . When I got home and opened food there were 11 French fries. Completely off from the eat in portion but same price? Night staff was rude also. Arguing with each other because no one wanted to ring me up. I don't want to hear how long your shift was ! So was mine. Never again will I order at night.
I ordered a simple meal from a meal service. I ly French fries were delivered. I called and was told I wasn't charged because they were out of what I ordered. Noone notified me. I would have canceled the order. Complete lack of care for customers.

Patronized this diner 2 months ago. Modern diner feel and look. Lots of space, booths and table seating. The food and coffee is okay. Our waiter was great, he was friendly and checked on us a few times.
Came for breakfast while I. Town with my family. Food was decent. Fairly standard diner menu. Not a ton of spices on the home fries which I really enjoyed. Waiter was very nice and joked with kids.
I took out from there this past Friday and the guy who helped me was very rude. The food there is good but the service wasn't good at all. Drew B

Pancakes fluffy. Cornbeef hash was good. The Huevos Bowl could have used some more ingredients but overall food was good. So was service.
Always been a fan of this dinner now they remodeled and it's even better. Huge portions always hot and fresh. Love this place
