New Berlin Fish House And Oyster

This is the absolute worst experience I've had at a seafood restaurant (and I live in OMAHA, NE, It's ten times better there) I travel for work and was very excited to have a nice seafood boil down south. I should have waited until I returned home. The service was extremely slow even though there was only one or two tables present upon our arrival. Before we even got our drinks refilled four other tables had been served apps. Our apps took over 45 minutes and after four other tables seated after us got their entrees, we got ours 15 minutes later. The seafood boil was inedible, uncooked potato, overcooked shrimp and sausage and somehow uncooked crab? Unsafe to eat. Our server did comp our entrees since we did not eat them after a safety test. I still regret wasting over $50 on drinks and apps. Unacceptable service, maybe avoid this place especially if you are early 30s dressed casually, younger seems to mean you aren't a priority. Sad considering I always tip over 20% for decent service. And when we questioned why service was taking so long, they said they had a large take out order that was holding this up.... yet this was only after we saw 4 other tables served before us. Go somewhere else.

We loved New Berlin Fish House! We had read about it while in the area decided to drive by as it was 4:00 pm we usually eat a late dinner. It looked so good from outside we decided to go in to share a dozen of the oysters. Then we figured, let’s share the poke bowl. Both were fantastic. The poke bowl was huge, and beautifully presented and delicious! Our server Abby, was attentive, fast friendly. We will definitely be going back, there were so many options on the menu, that I want to try.

THEY DO NOT SERVE LIQOUR! They have their liquor license but due to capacity issues they do cannot legally pour. They do not have the ingredients to make virgin drinks either.The food was mid. Fish wasn’t that flavorful but the gator tail was amazing. Sides, green beans, collard greens, and sweet potato fries, we’re also very bland.Overall, would not recommend!

We were looking for a place to eat while visiting Jacksonville that was near the airport. OMG this joint was great. Just delicious seafood. Plus huge portions if you look for that as well. My picture was of the stuffed grouper. It was so good. Thank you NB Fish House.

Second time here. Had the fried snapper and it was delicious! Happy hour has half off wine/single shot drinks/draft beers so we took advantage of it. Abby was our server and she was attentive and took great care of us. Will definitely be back.
