Samosas still $1 in August 2012!. I wanted to reward myself for having a good check up at my dentist on Fraser Street no fillings need replacement, woo hoo! so I rode my bike uphill to New Bhaia Sweet Shop because I had read the reviews about the good samosas that only cost $1. I assumed the price had gone up since the previous Urbanspoon review in 2010, but it still seemed like a good place for a snack to mess up my newly polished teeth.<br/ <br/ Well guess what? The samosas were still a buck apiece! Not only that, they were good. Owner is consistent with the rule of three. As a resident of Fraserview, this place is my guilty pleasure for their pakoras. As of this review, their veggie pakoras are now $0.75/each from $0.50/each in 2013. Their chicken and meat pakoras were still $1.00 each. In the rule of three for restaurants, this restaurant provides good food at good prices with bad service. They're consistent with this rule and I'm okay with that.<br/ <br/ In times when I want good food and good service, I'd head to restaurants west of Main Street.

2016 they still have veggie samosas for 75 cents and meat ones for $1. We bought 8 for a total of $6.30... If I went to UBC and wanted a samosa I would get 2 for that price and they would probably be even smaller. They were so good!!! Makes me wish I bought more so I could stash them for future snacking events. I have yet to try the other foods, was tempted in trying the roti.

Good Indian Food !! We like Chole Puri , Chat , Veggie Samosa in appies !! They have spicy levels and hot is really hot !! Like the food here !! We usually order food regularly from here !!
